- Detailed Literature Research about learners’ motivation and young learners facing functional illiteracy.

- Motivation Guide- includes information which will be based on narrative interviews, summaries of expert’s discussions as well as the literature research and it will provide information about motivation and give reasons for the strong refusal of young adults facing functional illiteracy. The handbook will also include learner’s voices. These voices will communicate in the words of young adult learners according to their learn biography, their motivation and approaches that have supported them to (re)engage in education. The guide will also include recommendation for a teaching module for teachers / trainers who work in field of illiteracy. It will be presented and evaluated during the European Trainers Meeting.
- European Trainer’s Meeting- takes place in Jena, February 2010. Through lectures, discussion forums and workshops teachers and trainers working in the field of illiteracy will be able to exchange experiences as well as to learn more about illiteracy in other European countries and to gather new working strategies and networks.
