European Trainer’s Meeting – Jena, Germany

    Through lectures, discussion forums and workshops teachers and
    trainers working in the field of iliteracy were able to exchange experiences as well as to learn more about illiteracy in other European countries and to gather new working strategies and networks.

    EUROPEAN CONFERENCE ON MOTIVATION AND ENCOURAGING

    The Thuringian Association of Adult Education (TVV e.V.) on behalf of the MoLeYa Project Consortium organized the European Conference on Motivation and Encouraging of young functional illiterates. The meeting was held at the Fair Hotel in Jena, Germany.

    Conference Programme and List of Participants
    About 60 persons representing 34 organizations from 9 different European countries attended the conference and actively participated in the workshops and plenary discussions with the key note speakers and workshop leaders.

    The participants used the opportunity to exchange experience and information on tWorkshop 1heir organizations and their work scope. Further they exchange information and experiences about their work with illiterates and young functional illiterates.

    The 5 workshops gave everyone the opportunity to get in touch with new/ innovative practices and methods concerning the motivation and attraction of young learners with low basic education and illiteracy.

    Also the draft of the “Motivation Guide” had been presented to the participants.Guide
