The Bildungsnetzwerk Steiermark (BN) is a local network dedicated to the support of adult education. The main objective is to create an active network of educational institutions, which offer trainings for adults and support lifelong learning. BN is the coordinative centre and offers different new services with the aim to support lifelong learning in the region “styria”.
Activities: coordination and networking for about 60 educational institutions, offering educational information and vocational guidance for the citizens just for free. The office also acts as a liaison between public institutions, financial offices and adult educational providers
The services of the BN are independent and can be accessed free because we it is funded by the Government of Styria and the Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture as well as it gets additional money for different projects from the European Social Funds.
